Kings and Bandits PvP server - How to Play

Posting this FAQ since some people were too dumb to figure it out. This is basically the new "Red99" since that server never seemed to have panned out, I think it was probably a giant scam to begin with. Anyway, back to the original post:

Server beta just started but now the admins are saying there will be no character wipe unless some kind of server breaking exploit happens so you can go ahead and level without worry of being deleted. Server is made by the people that did "Guild Wars" server in 2005 or so that had a pretty high population.

You start in a noob iceberg zone (PvE) just like in Shadowbane then talk to NPC to be ported to mainland.

- You can either join a town (teams) or go bandit (FFA).

- It's normal EQ classic zones then there will be custom raid zones above hate/fear going in.

- no boxing allowed

- get to loot 1 non-equipped item from other players bags on PvP kills


Create a forum account on www.eqpvp.com and use that as your login info. Need EQ Titanium client.


Patch needed to play: http://patch.eqpvp.com/June.10.2011.Patch.zip

If mouse movement speed is different for X and Y axis, hit ALT + O and set your MAXFPS to 60 and it will fix it.

Velious UI

If you want a user interface that doesn't look crappy, do /loadskin default_old or download the Velious UI below:

Make a new folder in your UIFILES directory named velious, unzip this folder to it and type /loadskin velious in game:

Normal EQ classic zones (pre-kunark) then there are some custom raid zones above hate/fear going in. I think BoT is one of them. The stuff above hate and fear isn't done yet.

It will be better than TZVZ imo because while it has all the normal EQ classic zones plus hate/fear, you get to do custom raid zones after that in places like BoT which is a much better PvP contestable zone than say Sebillis. It also has same item loot as altergate where you loot 1 non-equipped item from a players bags. Also, I'm pretty sure AA's through PvP and other means are going in.
