Default Gnoll fangs

As a barbarian what quest should I do with these, the Qeynoes ones for moonstones to give to that merchant fella, or the Halas ones?

As of a week ago, Qeynos was yielding about 3 times as much experience per fang. At level 5 I received about 10% exp per fang in Qeynos. In Halas I received about 10% exp per 3 fangs.

the qeynos quest also gives a negative faction hit towards the corrupt guards there, which can kinda suck at lower levels if you plan on making qeynos a home for a level or two.

Yeah, you will eventually start getting jumped by a couple of the guards, but they are lowbies and will be db or lb by the time they get mad enough at you. The other guards do not assist. Sadly, they also don't drop fine steel.

They should, or at least I recall being attacked by good guards assisting corrupt ones.

A quick look found from April 01: http://web.archive.org/web/200104170...html?quest=543

where someone said "i have deleted a 10th lvl char do to this quest. i even get attacked by the good guards if a corrupt guard is near by."

Pretty sure you hand in Halas fangs one at a time and get 10% per fang, I always do the Halas quest...

Devs changed it to 3 at a time. The server it use to be one at a time, but no longer. If it were one at a time, I'd recommend Halas.

I thought it was one fang at a time in Halas myself..

but on P99 its 3 at a time for one exp hit in Halas

but it doesn't ruin the evil guard faction in qeynos.. if you care about that.
