What the many vocal mouth-breathers here really want is a server where they can win. R99 was not that server. They will make up 1000 excuses if it justifies their leaving. LoZ personifies all those excuses. Besides kunark which is huge, it has literally nothing except a few manufactured reasons to pvp, and 50 bugs per reason to go with it.

That crowd just didn't have the fortitude (sack) to make it here. Thats the real issue.

Wrong last week when Blue was down temporarily it had 60+ If you really want this server to work you need to start bashing the dudes that run it instead of bashing the dudes that don't play here anymore. Everyone will come right back if some minor changes were made.

That was actually not when blue was down, though since then, the pop has been trickling back down. Not surprising when half of Nihilum has been flaking out because we know we've gone as far as we can go in classic. Servers always trend up or down. When people don't log on, others don't log on > and on and on.

We've all done our share of pleading with staff, but ultimately thats proven to be 99% a waste of time as Rogean is absent other than patch days, and Nilbog invests a ton of his free time into Velious.

You can flip flop all day and try to work an angle to accomplish whatever it is you hope to achieve. Obviously you're trying to cast resurrection on your rep. I'm not going to pretend that the clowns that troll here all day are right when they haven't been able to make up their mind whats "really wrong with the server" in 9 months. I've read the boards leading up to r99 launch, and know what they wanted. A server they could dominate. When it didn't happen, the shit hit the fan, and they've actively campaigned against the server since. Now they go to a server that has 100x more problems than the server they just boycotted allegedly because of bugs and exploits. Its completely transparent to those of us who aren't easily subverted and retain the ability to think objectively.

The fact that they still troll here daily only confirms everything I say. They can't get over it. Probably never will, so all they can do is come back and troll hard, hoping to kill the one legit EQ pvp server as if it will wipe what happened out of the minds of the EQ emu community. Must suck living life completely crippled by pride.

Even Hijinx, one of the most immersed people ever on these forums at one time, has spoken out about the flaws of this server and why it is doomed. You'd do well to listen to your former / retired guild mate, someone who actually sought out PVP by the way.

Probably because you weren't even in my PVP range until February when there were about 100 people left on the server. This shit is dead folks. You can all sit here and talk about "winners" of an emulated 14 year old game that has 20ish players on it and beat your chest in your basement all you want, but what exactly have you won when 80% of this server at one point or another has all been in Nihilum? If winning is sitting in Plane of Sky for eight hours on a week night with 95% of the server pop guilded with me, then I'm glad to put a DNP next to my name.
