Iron ration is "a hearty meal", and is consumed at the same rate as normal rations which are considered just "a meal".

No, iron rations did last longer in classic.

I would like to add that all food is consumed at the same rate right now, I have tried snacks and enduring alike.

I used to think so as well for the first week or so. Then I bought muffins one day thinking "Wow, this is cheap and lightweight!". Then I noticed I went through 20 muffins in the time it took me to use about 3 waters and I realized the problem.
On this server though...muffins are king! ![]() | ||

I used to use muffins and milk, 2 lightest items. They truly did last exactly as long as iron rations and fuzzlecutter back then. That all changed in Luclin however.

Are you serious? I was sure food was eaten at different rates on classic. Must be remembering Luclin I guess.

Absolutely positive. My Iron Rations always went down at the same rate as my flask of water. So i went and got batwing crunchies (a snack) and Bottle of Milk. Lived off those till Lucllin came out and moved on to Fishrolls and Fuzzlecutter.

I am also sure that they were consumed at the same rate. I was also a Muffin/Milk hoarder.
