Spell file out of date?

Not working for me either. I deleted my EQ folder, re-installed, reinstalled Duxa's, ran that but now I'm not getting a fixed icon on my desktop.

Downloaded version 8 and replaced the old files is not giving me access I figure server is still down at this time and will try again later. If anyone hears anything give me a heads up please. UPDATE ok nm got it fixed just re downloaded it again and it worked

I removed the fixed icon out of option (1) because not everyone needs it, and for some people (that didnt need it) it would cause other issues. But it still exists as a standalone option, so just run the installer again and pick option (5), that will put the icon on your desktop

server is up, you must have updated incorrectly. So look in my signature and use the installer. pick option (13) it will update it for you properly.

Just change the URL from v7 to v8, he just forgot to update the link.

just use the eqemulauncher and your spell files will always automaticly be up to date ... no dowloading, no checking forums if a update is available before logging in ... just launch, pick the server, click play, if patches are available it will patch before it launches EQ .. done ...

I cant even get the eqemulauncher to run. What are you supposed to do?
Keep getting the message the application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135).

And does anyone know how to get rid of all the changes Dux's made to my folder? Since running it, i cant even make it back to the character select screen. Just says eqexe or something wouldnt run.

All you guys have to do is download the zip file from the project 1999 home page or the getting started page (the EQ changes v9). Then just extract is to your everquest folder/overwrite any conflicts and congratulations you win.

Crushev, I tried just using your installer like I have been (which is great by the way), even downloaded the installer again. I ran option 13 but still got the outdated spell file error.

it requires microsoft .net 3 or higher ...
