Well damn. Was looking forward to getting on today as I won't be able to for the next week. Last night things were fine. Now I start the game, login and get to server select screen but when I choose Project 1999 - The Ruins od Kunark it sits for a couple of minutes, then kicks me back out to the login screen.

A few times just now I would login and get an error 1017: Can't login to the Everquest Server. You may need to re-run the update patch. etc.

Updated the new V.8 files btw.

Any ideas? Looks like 750 people are on the server. I'm guessing I'm the only person having this trouble all of a sudden.

Re-copy your zonefile from whatever source your EQ files are from. Your zonefile may be corrupt.
