when game gets a patch

Dose the game automactically patch when it needs to,or do I have to do it manually? If yes,where do I get the patch. Sorry if I sound like a noob here

All patches are server side. You don't need to do anything differently when you log in.
The only thing we need to occasionally do is update our spell files. But those times are noted in the patch notes.
