I have yet to actually read the books or watch the show. Probably way too far behind now to get into it, but beginning to think I should take it up. Seems rather interesting, hordes of fans aside, what little I do know of it seems very well put together.

Yes and they made a huge deal on hair color about who's child is who's. They forgot to hire someone with ligher hair than the current Jon Snow if we're looking at it from the slightly alterered version HBO series.

Jon Snow has dark colored hair in both series. He has been compared to being similar to Arya, who has been compared to Lyanna.
