Relive the classic Everquest MMORPG Gaming Experience as it was in 1999 and onward. Project 1999 is a free to play Emulated Everquest Server giving Players the opportunity to experience Classic EQ Once again, starting with the original 3 continents and a max level of 50, with the look and feel of the old interface and several modifications making game mechanics similar to how the game used to be. We will be going through / watching the guide apps section over the next week or two for some new people to help out. If you are interested please post an app. If you have already posted one, please bump it and include any updated information that may have changed since your original post.
We appreciate all of the people that show interest in helping the server, even with limited time available. Due to the time investment by both new apps and the current staff for training and acclimation to commands, policies, and operations, we ask that you have at least a few hours a day, and a majority of the days of the week, to help out answering petitions and assisting players. Once familiar with everything this can be done while multitasking other things and even playing your own character fairly easily.

This patch contains new files. Please obtain the latest EQChanges V20 from the setup guide, or obtain the latest files via the EQEmu Launcher.
Code- Kanras: Disabled spawn variance. (Red)
- Kanras: NPCs will no longer respond to chat or item handins while player is feigned.
- Kanras: Mana regen bug should be fixed.
Content- Kanras/Nilbog/Uthgaard: Epics. (Blue)
There was a problem patching the emeraldjungle/spirit_sentinel file (Shaman Epic), do not use until we confirm it is working properly.
- Nilbog: Werewolves may rarely drop Serpent Insignia Collar.
- Nilbog: Raztara now sells more items. (notably potions)
- Nilbog: Crafted class 6 steel silver tipped arrows have different ranges based on size of groove nock.
- Nilbog: Resolved an issue which was breaking the Frontier Mountains cycle. Report any further oddities.
- Nilbog: Guards of South Qeynos salute and respond to Lieutenant Arathur.
- Nilbog: The default bind location for West Freeport has been moved away from the gates.
- Nilbog: Niblek's Gems quest rewritten. (multiquestable)
- Nilbog: Vengeful Musician's quest rewritten. (multiquestable)
- Nilbog: The prisoner's quest in West Freeport related to Zimel's Blades rewritten. (multiquestable)

Code- Rogean: Added a line of sight requirement for mobs' combat range. This was previously being ignored, leading to the issue of mobs attacking through walls or not casting their spells. Mobs will now continue pathing until both conditions are met. Report any strange behavior in the bug forums. Pathing nodes may need to be addressed in various locations.
- Rogean/Nilbog: City guards will now indiscriminately attack any players that they notice making offensive actions towards another player.
- Kanras: Removed TimeOfDay (2) restriction on Song of Twilight.
- Kanras: Jonthan's Provocation and Jonthan's Inspiration: Changed targettype from GroupSingle to Self, and removed rune effect.
- Null: Changed pet damage in PvP from 50% to 80%. This is based off screenshots from early kunark (but post pet pvp nerfs from classic) that show shaman pets hitting for significantly more than they do here.
Content- Nilbog: polar bears in Everfrost max hit decreased.
- Nilbog: Bipdo Hargin now sells weapon molds.
- Nilbog: Ancient Cyclops of South Ro should work properly again.
- Nilbog: Freeport rogues are now on the correct faction.
